Introducing the newest members of the Kindermusik family!
Meet Biscotti and Baci (Cookies and Kisses!) Biscotti is the “oreo” boy and Baci is the sweet girl, solid black, and both have the most golden eyes.
We fell in love when we saw this picture, but these beauties were at a rescue far, far away…in Montreal, so we tried to look away, but alas, we couldn’t resist.
We finally gave in to those golden eyes and went for it. A rep from the rescue drove them to Boston and we met them there. What a fun and fantastic adventure!
They have already brought Mr. Lisa (aka, Robert) and I so much joy. They are affectionate and playful and move in sync, like a two-headed cat. They are just about a year old and it’s a blast having kittens in the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better pair of buddies.
They’ve already begun helping me at my desk when I have to catch up on admin and emails. They sprawl over my desk together (and I let them for now). Antics have already included sleeping in the bathroom sink and typing at random while walking across my keyboard.
They had no trouble adjusting to Texas or our home, as you can see from the pics.
I’ve been singing to them so they’re getting a bit of Kindermusik and they’ll learn to love the piano soon. For now, please welcome them with a song:
“Meow, Meow, Meow.
Whose cat art thou?
I am Miss Lisa’s cat.
Meow, Meow, Meow.”
(or since they were born in Canada, is it Miau, Miau, Miau?)
You can read about Fusto, Dolce and Macarena, our previous cats here).
