Getting to know Miss Sarah!

sarah1webWhat can families expect from Miss Sarah’s class?

Parents have said they are thankful for the intimate community in class.

Why Miss Sarah loves the Kindermusik way!

When I brought by little boy, Noah, to his first Kindermusik trial class, I knew this was something I wanted to be involved in because of the joy I saw on his face at just four months old!  I have learned so much about child development since becoming a teacher.

What amazes Miss Sarah about class time?

I am amazed by what babies and children understand! Music and movement provide the opportunity for children to use new vocabulary or try new movements. For example, I wouldn’t have known that Noah could stomp his feet until I saw him dance to Tants Tants Yidelekh in Miss Lisa’s class! I also remember the week when I saw a baby’s first time sitting up and another baby’s first steps! What a special time for me to get to experience that with those families!

What are some of the common, yet extraordinary things that happen in class that make Miss Sarah want to teach again and again?

Each time I bring out an instrument, the looks on the children’s faces are priceless!
