Wondering what your Kindermusik Educators were doing this summer? Well, in the “office” we were working long hours building our new website and administration system. But, check out what we did for fun. (We’re pretty sure that Ms. Kasey wins the prize this year for best summer vacation!)
Miss Lisa had the special opportunity to spend a couple days in Seattle working with the educators in the nations #1 Kindermusik program. What an inspiration! (She got a good chill in the process.) And after all the hard work, she and Robert spent a long weekend enjoying the outdoors in Boulder.
Ms. Chelsea traveled to Colorado Springs, Louisville, and MO Ranch (Kerrville, TX) attending and leading at various church music conferences. She enjoyed teaching Kindermusik through the summer while escaping to the pool as much as possible!
Ms. Emily spent her summer finishing her intermship and was successful in studying to become a Board Certifited Music Therapist. She passed her board exam in mid-august while continuing to teach ABC classes and Kindermusik adventures.
Ms. Jenn spent 3 weeks cooling off in the beautiful weather of New Hampshire this summer, where she visited her family. She finally went on the infamous Boston Duck Tours and spent time relaxing and wiggling her toes in the sandy beaches of Maine.
This summer, Ms. Jenni celebrated her 4th wedding anniversary and her daughter’s 1st birthday (all on the same day!). She went to the ocean, the zoo, the farm, the big city, the aquarium, the park, the doctor, the grocery store, and grandma and grandpa’s house…ALL in her Kindermusik classes!
Ms. Jennifer spent most of her summer as ‘cruise director’, deciding which activities would be most exciting for her 2 boys from week to week. Aside from that, she enjoyed a trip to Atlanta in June to visit family and friends, followed by a Kindermusik conference. In July, she and her husband spent some time away – without children – and enjoyed the outdoors together.
Ms. Kasey got to spend a month on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. She loved getting to visit her brother-in-law, go to the beach, hike to waterfalls, snorkel with sea turtles, and eat lots of native fruits!
Ms. Le’Shea spent the summer enjoying my family at home and while traveling to the beaches of Charleston SC and mountains of South Central Colorado.
In addition to teaching Kindermusik, Miss Lowry worked hard on her new blog, “Mommy Manders: Parenting with Purpose and Perspective, ” and she recently lead her children and other families in “Good Deeds Week”, teaching children that little hands can make a BIG difference.
Monica was out at summer basketball and All-Star baseball games and still enjoying Kindermusik classes with my preschooler. She and her family snuck away for a week to Breckenridge, CO. where highs were in the 70s and lows in the 40s!
Ms. Nicole took the summer off to relax and enjoy spending time with her family. She was able to spend a week with family and friends at South Padre and reconnect with her great aunts and uncles. Now refreshed, she’s ready for the start of a new school year.
